I caught my first fish when I was 4 years old, with my grandfather's fly rod. Ever since then, I have been actively pursuing any fish that I can. Whether it's in the salt, or freshwater, I love them all. Growing up in Michigan, I spent all of my summers in the northwestern part of the state chasing smallmouth and salmon. I am a fully licensed Captain through the US Coast Guard and am also fully insured. Jeff "Bear" Andrews is a long-time fly fisherman, fly tyer, and outdoorsman who is the lead fly fishing guide for Wolfe Outfitters. Born and raised in Michigan, he attended Northern Michigan University in Marquette where he majored in Fisheries and Wildlife Management.

In 1977, Bear started Bear Handed Fly Designs, LLC, selling hand tied flies commercially, producing as many as 24,000 per year. He is heavily involved in the Federation of Fly Fishers, and its local chapter, the Red Cedar Fly Fishers. He created and participated in the "Tyathon," a 24-hour one-man fly tying marathon. In its history of consecutive ten years, more than $140,000 in donations toward conservation projects through the FFF were raised.  read more >>

Jeff is a life-long fly fisherman, fly tier, and accomplished fish carver. He recently retired from the Coast Guard and has fly fished throughout the country - extensively in Alaska and The Great Lakes. He lives with his wife, Diane, in Frankfort, Michigan.

Fishing has been a passion of Marcel's throughout his whole life. He started out bass fishing in many of the small ponds in his native state of New Jersey. Once school let out, he would run to the closest pond and fish until dark. As he grew older the desire to compete in a bass tournament became inevitable. He fished his first good-sized tournament on the Potomac River in Maryland, and was fortunate enough to cash a check. At that point, he was hooked on tournament fishing.
